Systems Interoperability
Wireless Pacific X-Ponders are designed to ensure simplified integration into most radio networks. A 99 mode selector on BDX5000 & RDX3588 models allows you to pre-define configurations to meet your local operational and interoperability needs. All these X-Ponders can communicate in clear analog or P25 digital and BDX5000 & RDX3588 models can optionally also encrypt/decrypt DES-OFB or AES.
Besides standalone analog/P25 repeater operation, the Advanced model RDX3588 & BDX5000 units can also optionally be wirelessly linked into an overlapping fixed network. External audio interface connections on BDX5000 & RDX3588 models allow prioritized command post operation, and even customer aircraft deployment.

AES/DES-OFB Encryption
Units with secure operation fitted allow decrypted audio to be monitored locally or sent down an insecure telephone line and viceversa - where operations dictate. When used with NetConnect this allows different radio traffic on different channels and keys to be cross-connected.
Code Transparent
Transparent operation allows any valid P25 signal is passed thru the X-ponder without the need for key loading and thereby maintaining maximum security at remote sites. models with X873 ethernet connectivity allow totally secure comms networks to be provided providing multi-site wide-area or even nationwide code transparent communications.
NetConnect Linking
Connecting with your fixed infrastructure has never been easier. NetConnect allows the
repeater to be wirelessly linked into an overlapping fixed radio system. Alternatively it allows two agencies to be cross connected for interoperability. NetConnect linking options supports both analog and digital, conventional mode as well as P25 9600Bd Control Channel trunking. NetConnect options are available on BDX 5000 and Advanced series RDX3588 models only.
Secondary Batteries
Lightweight Super Li-Ion battery back-up suitcases are available when extended operation is required. The 38AH packs can extend powered life of the X-ponder in repeat mode up to 7 days at a typical 10% Tx duty cycle. The 38AH suitcases are shock resistant and weatherproof while the 19AH series are designed for internal protected environments.
Solar Power
The X-ponders are designed to allow use with a broad range of Solar Panels from leading suppliers. In normal sunlight this allows the units to be re-charged and left for weeks, even years without the need for human intervention.
Remote Site
An optional comprehensive remote site implementation kit provides all necessary parts to implement a highly substantial remote site. The kit is highly compact and designed for immediate deployment with minimal effort. Each kit includes a black carry bag with 4 section 15’/4.5M mast, (5’/1.5M collapsed) Unity gain base antenna, coax cables, guys, mounting stand, anchors and all required installation items.
