The WPLAM can be supplied with the default mandown software, or can be configured to provide:
- Panic alert tone
- Lone worker timed alarm
- Transmit timer
- Your own defined feature set

*Mandown - How it works:
A microcontroller constantly monitors the position of the user. Should the Lone Alert Mic stay in a position of greater than 60 off upright for longer than 15 seconds, a low-level warning will sound for 10 seconds. Lone Alert will then cause the radio to send a warbling alarm tone over the radio channel or trunked talkgroup followed by 15 seconds of ‘Live Mic” so others on the radio channel can monitor the situation. This process will repeat every 2 minutes until the Lone Alert RSM is held upright or the attached radio is turned off.
